Live Jasmin is a widely popular live camsite that's been around for awhile and contains one of the larger cam girl archives out there with over 31,000+ models registered and around 700 or so online at any given time. From the name, you might expect to find Asian models here but Live Jasmin mainly features Eastern European babes. Happily, the site also has a more reasonable price per minute rate than many of the other cam sites I've reviewed.
As with most live cam sites, the first thing you'll want to do at Live Jasmin is signup for an account. To get a Live Jasmin account, you need to purchase $29.99 in credits. Once you've setup your account and logged in, you'll be presented with a welcome page which contains links to a handful of featured models as well as info on upgrading your membership to Top Member status. Being a Live Jasmin Top Member requires you to pay 15 credits (the unit of currency used here) every two weeks and entitles you to a number of special features such as being able to private message and rate the performers and being entered in a contest giveaway for 25,000 free credits which occurs bi-weekly. You'll also be able to personalize your search options and your ID will appear differently in chat so the models know you're a Live Jasmin Top Member and will give you extra special attention. At the top of the page, you'll find links to the Live Jasmin models that are currently online as well as what they call "The 69's Team"...these are top-rated performers that Top Members have voted are the best. I started out by clicking the Who's Online link. Here you'll find the site's content divided up into three big sections: Live Sex Cams, Talents (there are only a handful of people here and they have specialties like astrology and tarot card reading), and Video On Demand (these are pre-recorded videos of some of the Live Jasmin performers). The Live Sex Cams section is mainly where we want to be and they divide things up there into quite a few categories and subcategories. Mousing over a model will also bring up tiny flags which tell you the languages the girl/guy speaks. This does not tell you the model's country of origin however...pretty much all of the performers here have English listed as a language but not all of them are American or British by any stretch. Most look to be Eastern European or Latina studio models but you will find Americans here and there. Anyhow, once in the Live Jasmin free chat area, you'll be able to type back and forth with the babe in the chat window, adjust the screen size, audio volume, and video settings of the cam feed, take a snapshot of the screen (for a small credit fee), and view the performer's personal page where you'll often find a sample video of her on cam as well as a photo gallery and a listing of some of the things she does in private shows. In free chat, you can also give the girl a "Surprise" (for a small credit fee)...stuff like virtual flowers, a heart, etc. Purchasing a private show is as easy as clicking the link at the top of the free chat stream. You'll be taken to a confirmation page where they tell you how many credits/minute that performer charges and then a link to launch the show. Most shows cost 1.99-2.99 credits per minute with some a bit higher than that and others which feature a bargain rate of only 0.98 credits per minute. Some girls offer a couple of show options which can effect the price...for instance, it might cost extra to have two-way audio in your private chat. Once in a private show, the setup looks pretty much the same except there's usually a second cam window available to the right if you want to cam to cam (this seemed to be no extra charge, at least with the camgirls I checked out) and chat is now conducted at the bottom of the page. The ability to adjust video size and settings as well as snapshot the screen are all there for you as well. The video quality is generally good although this does of course depend on whether or not you picked a camgirl with an HD stream or not. They also provide you with a timer up at the top of the page so you know how much time you have left based on how many credits are in your account. The camgirls I had shows with were relatively good...the main problem I had with them was the fact that they're foreign (read: non-American) so language can be a problem. Also, I did notice some of the babes taking a bit of extra time obeying my instructions or typing superfluous things in chat to eke out a few more seconds. This stuff is pretty typical of foreign studio models which is why I prefer the real U.S. amateurs working from home. They also feature a selection of bargain priced models who offer private shows for as low as $0.98/minute. The girls here are hot for sure however it seems like they do tend to be mainly European or Latina (with few American babes available it seems) and they're often (but by all means not always) paid studio models as opposed to real amateurs working from home. This might not matter to you as the bottom line is there's a large selection of hot girls available willing to get naked and do most anything you ask for a cheaper rate than you're likely to find at many cam sites.
