My Cams is a well-established live cam site that also gave rise to Live Jasmin and JOYourSelf, both of which I've reviewed for Quality Cam Sites. My Cams also contains the largest overall database of camgirls I've encountered thus far (they boast of over 600,000 registered cam models) although, as with most cam sites, only a small portion of them are on at any one time (roughly 700 or so, in the case of My Cams). My Cams looks to mainly feature European and South American models with some American girls mixed in. This site is a pretty big name in the live cam porn world...let's check things out.
When you get to the My Cams site, click the Sign Up link at the top of the page and register yourself for an account. This will require you to purchase at least 29.99 worth of credits (for $29.99) and will give you access to the member features of the site. Once you've gotten your My Cams account set up and you've logged in, you'll find yourself at the main page of the site and presnted with a listing of all of the camgirls online at that time (each with a small thumbnail, a flag representing the language she speaks, and links to enter her private or free chat). There are a plethora of sorting options available to you to help you find what you're looking for.
Tabs at the tob of the thumbnail listing allows you to sort things based on whether the camgirl has free chat available or if you need an account to chat with her. You'll be fine either way since you already have an account registered. A menu down the lefthand side of the page divides things up into various categories including Girls, Pornstars, Mature, Lesbians, Couples, Groups, and more. If you click on any of these, you can also narrow the search further in that particular category. For example, the Girls category breaks down into big tits, small tits, 18-22, blonde, and various ethnicities like Asian, ebony, and Latina. There's also a keyword search up at the top of the page. One thing I'd like to have is a way to sort the models by cam features like audio or HD cams, but I didn't see anything like that. In addition to the live cam sections, there's also a Videos area which houses pre-recorded videos by the My Cams models...these do cost credits but much less than a private show would cost.
Anyhow, once you've found a girl you like, go ahead and click on through to her free chat area. Here you'll be able to chat with the model via a text window, hear her audio (if available), and adjust the video screen size. Going private with the babe is as easy as clicking a link down at the bottom of the screen. You'll be taken to a page which will tell you how much credit per minute the show will cost you and a button to confirm that you want to launch the show.
Once in private, you'll find a similar setup to free chat and you'll still have options to adjust audio volume, screen size, video settings, etc. You also have the option of activating cam to cam, assuming the camgirl offers it (and you have your own cam, of course). The video quality at My Cams (in both free and private chats) tends to vary a bit from camgirl to camgirl. Browsing around, most seemed to look nice but there were some I encountered that could use an upgrade. Of course, since the site offers free live chat, you'll be able to preview the camgirl's cam quality before you jump in and start spending credits on a live show.
The babes here are definitely hot and, as I mentioned, primarily non-American (as usual, Eastern European, Russian, and South American models abound). Still, they're agreeable to most requests in private and put on a good show. Language can make things a bit slow (for English speakers, at least) but it's not too big of a deal as "get naked" seems to be one thing all these babes understand LOL. Overall, I had a great private show experience here.

My Cams is another nice live cam site in much the same vein as Live Jasmin and JOYourSelf. My Cams offers up a large archive of hot camgirls (registered and online) and the price per minute for the site's private chats are quite reasonable at $1.99-$2.99. Cam quality can be a bit variable and, as with many sites, the camgirl archive features a lot of non-American babes, but overall I definitely enjoyed my experience here and would highly recommend paying My Cams a visit.
